My use you cannot always see - place the food too far away and the runner wont see it
Nuisance I may sometimes be - can be annoying/difficult to do quick enough
Out of sight i let you free - when you pick up the food again the runner is set free

EDIT: Again, if its a more general answer you need an alternative could be: Wrong food / The various uses of wrong food

Everyone is looking to save time whether you're a torso hunter, casual player or speeder.
My use you cannot always see
Maybe this is to be taken more literally? Instead of judging the efficacy of something, we are questioning the frequency i.e how commonly these methods are used.
Nuisance I may sometimes be
All time-saving methods require extra effort on the part of the players.
Out of sight I let you free
When playing a super casual game (see w306), the participants are "free" to play in a manner however they so choose...

A bridge to all who aspire - queen must be killed to proceed / all people new to ba experience ditchers and have to overcome it
I demonstrate what you acquire - the ditcher leaves to go buy and equip the torso
I lie where otherwise is fire - they lie to the team that they will be back so they dont get flamed
On the brink of main desire - so close to finishing queen kill
