At CBA's 4th Anniversary my membership to OSRS will expire. I do not plan on renewing it. This effectively means I will be leaving BA, CBA, and OSRS altogether. I will miss very many of you, especially those who have grown to be (what I would consider) close friends. Life has taken me mostly away from playing video games at this point, so I need to accept this and move on. I will remain active in CBA's Discord, if anyone needs to contact me.
That being said, I have sold several items in my bank to fund a large prize pot for TWO challenges.
1. Sunday Race Record.
Currently the Sunday Race Record stands at 10:39 set recently by a team of Raideniza, Static Line, Fostrian, Solar754, and McLovin1981. Whichever team of players has the fastest race time by the end of Sunday Races on December 13th, I will reward each member of that team with 100m. I look forward to seeing you all in the coming weeks between now and December at Sunday Races, pursuing this challenge!
Nota Bene: Rebel teams will be ineligible for the reward and competing teams must be formed in good faith (i.e. no stacked teams with "secret alts"). I have the right to withhold the reward if I believe a team has been formed in poor faith. This contest does not apply to duo-healer teams.
2. Arrow Run Record.
The Arrow Room has been a long favorite mode of mine at BA. I always enjoyed the "dynamic" aspect to role selection and the loose/relaxed feel within team structure. In Arrow Runs you gotta roll with the punches, otherwise you just can't have fun. There hasn't been as much interest in the Arrow Room as I would like to see, so I am going to fund a challenge to motivate players to engage the mode AND hopefully generate more interest in the Arrow Room.
The current Arrow Run Record sits at 13:38 held by Inquez, Ticataca, Cowrider1873, WBacon and henke8. Whichever team of players has the fastest completion of an Arrow Run by the end of Saturday December 12th 11:59:59 CT US, I will reward each member of that team with 100m.
Nota Bene: A full Arrow Run entails completing all 10 waves by entering waves only through the Arrow Room. Players must select "any role" when passing through the portal. Otherwise, anything else goes, including moving about in the Arrow Room after passing through the portal.
All valid entries for the Arrow Room Challenge MUST be recorded with unedited video, otherwise they will not be considered for prize money. Please submit any videos to me either as a reply to this thread OR over Discord (Zarpedon #3845). Video evidence must be posted before the deadline.
If any of these challenges goes unfulfilled, I will donate the reward money to the Anniversary Drop Party.
Good luck and play BA 'ery day!

[UPDATE September 20, 2020 7PM CT US]
There were several close attempts for the Sunday Race Record in the past two weeks. According to Ugne, one team would have broken the record, if not for a minor mistake on Wave 10. Keep trying, guys and gals! I'm eager to see the record be broken, not just once, but several times between now and December.
In private conversations, I have been made aware that a team *may* have broken the Arrow Run Record, but his/her team has yet to upload their attempt. Players have asked me privately, if they can hold off on posting their record runs until the deadline. The answer is 'yes'. Some may consider this 'unsportsmanlike' but I see no way that I could control this behavior and, therefore, have no opinion on such conduct either way.
Finally, in an effort to make the challenges more competitive and include the Duo-H Race conducted at the end of Sunday Races, I have set aside another 100m. This money will come as a bonus, if one of the players who wins either of the other two challenges is also on the record holding team for the Duo-H Race by Sunday Races on December 13th. If this condition applies to more than one person, they will split the 100m evenly among themselves. (Same conditions apply concerning creating teams in good faith).
The current Duo-H Race record is 11:01 held by Halleluhwah, Crowride1873, Wazaaranger, elbo, and daal muncher.

A lot happened this week. Wow!
Firstly, congratulations to the team of Inquez, Ticataca, Cowrider1873, WBacon, and henke8 on smashing the old Arrow Run Record. The new time to beat is: 13:38. Well done guys and gals! But I think the record can go even lower. You can watch a video of the run here:
Next, the Sunday Race Record was also smashed after nearly a full year of remaining untouched. Many teams came close over that time, but FINALLY a team of Raideniza, Static Line, Fostrian, Solar754, and McLovin1981 broke the record with a time of: 10:39. Will this be the time to win the challenge? It's pretty fast. The ones who will beat it, won't be deterred by the challenge, but will rise to meet it. To see how they did it, check out these video(s):
Finally, there are no updates for anyone earning the bonus 100m from the Duo-H Race. However, WBacon was 6 seconds away from earning the bonus!

[UPDATE October 4, 2020 5PM CT US]
No update this week to either the Sunday Race Record or Arrow Run Record, although there were valiant attempts.
However, congratulations to the team of Inquez, Audrey Horne, Thordain, Blue Whales, and Quadias for setting the new Duo-H Race Record with a time of 10:43.
Inquez is now eligible for the 100m bonus. Will it remain that way until deadline in December? Time will tell!

Again, no progress this week on either Sunday Race or Arrow Run Records. There were several outstanding race times though.
The Duo-H Record was broken AGAIN by a team of Inquez, , Raideniza, Gele Kers, and Jimmy Door with a time of 10:30.Inquez and Raideniza are now eligible for splitting the 100m bonus pot. Due to a secret-alt appearing on the team, this team is not eligible for the reward.

No new updates concerning any of the records. This is mainly just a bump to remind players of this challenge. The Arrow Run Record can be beaten at any time. Don't procrastinate, even though League is going on. We're almost a month away from our 4th Anniversary Event.
Finally, I'd like to make a formal statement that if the Duo-H previous Record time of 10:43 is beaten, I will ignore the current record in order to qualify any members of that team for the bonus pot.
