Hey guys!
We haven't done one of these in a long time, but people seemed to enjoy them back in the day - so we thought we'd bring them back! The Speed BA discord has now reached 182 members, which is honestly an insane amount. When we started Speed BA we just tried to create a centralized location where people could meet up and play fast rounds, we never thought the community would grow this large. Big thanks to Chris & Oliver for keeping things going strong when I inadvertently go MIA every couple of months
Also a big thanks to everyone in the SBA community, who has got involved in the discord, created new strategies and played countless rounds. The progression we've made in the last year alone is absolutely crazy!
Updates for this month:
So during the month of June, quite a lot went on. First thing to mention is that we got 2 new WR's! The first set by non other than Chris (who else!?), narrowly besting his PB by 0.6s to set a new WR of 10:42. This was then beaten the next day by Houred 'The Koala', with a very impressive time of 10:36 which can be viewed here! (shameless plug)

New Strategies:
During the month of June, our top BA engineers have been hard at work to try and further optimize current methods. We've seen the introduction of 1 logging every wave, and a new 48s Wave 5 method by using the Strength cape emote to extend the call. Here are some videos showcasing these new methods, definitely worth the watch!

In other news...
We're also happy to announce the promotion of Hendi to lieutenant! Hendi has contributed a lot to the speeds community. From creating guides, strategies, and being involved in countless records. His contributions have not gone unnoticed, and we can't wait to see what he can bring in the future!
