Hope all is well. I've been very busy with teaching and coaching this school year. I miss you all a lot and I can't wait for November to roll around when I'll have more time to 'F+?'.
I wanted to take a second to be more transparent about a ban policy that the Admin team has enforced since before I was even an Admin (shoutout to the olden days of Tasty and julian).
CBA will ban ANY player who enters the CC that is also in the RuneWatch / RS Justice databases.
While this may seem harsh or like an over-extension of our rule enforcement, there are two main reasons we do this:
1. We want CBA to be as safe as a place as possible for our ranks/members. If there are known scammers entering the CC, we cannot confidently say that our members are safe. While we may not be able to offer complete protection, we want to offer as much as we can where we can.
2. CBA would like to help other clans enforce their rules. As an act of mutual-respect among clans, we want to help other OSRS clans keep wrong-doers accountable for their actions. CBA is only one clan of the bigger picture that is OldSchool Runescape. We want this game to be a place where justice is maintained.
I understand not everyone's clean of sin and we all have our skeletons in a closet somewhere, but blatantly scummy people, who have a history of causing trouble in OSRS, are not welcome in CBA. Until these people have resolved their issues with those they have wronged, we will keep them banned.
