Welcome To Casual BA!
Casual BA
Casual BA is a clan for people who enjoy BA and want to play it with other enthusiastic players. Whether it is for the Penance Pet, elite clues, high gamble rewards, fun, or all of the above, CBA is the perfect place for you! We have a very simple system for efficiently forming teams. A guide to this system can be found below. Also our guide section for all the BA roles can be found Here.
Nota Bene: Casual BA is not for those seeking a torso or diary requirements. It is for high gamblers/fun players only. If you are hunting torso/diary, we recommend the you use World 306, or purchase what you need from a BA leeching clan. !
How to Join/Start Teams
1. Type in chat "F+?" or "+?". F stands for "fun team".
2. Wait for clanmates to respond.
- Someone will respond with: "F+5", "F+4", "F+3", "F+2", or "F+1". The number after the '+' indicates how many more people are needed to fill the team. To join a team, you will need to lower that number by one, e.g.
[CBA] You: F+?
[CBA] iTaste: F+3
[CBA] You: F+2
[CBA] iTaste: F+3
[CBA] You: F+2
- If no one responds, assume there is no team forming and type "F+4" to start a team, e.g.
[CBA] You: F+?
...1 minute later... no response...
[CBA] You: F+4
...1 minute later... no response...
[CBA] You: F+4
You have now reserved a spot on the team.
3. The team is full when someone types "F+0".
4. Pick roles. Be willing to play at least three roles. The healer will call the team's world.
5. If you need to leave a team before it fills, you must increase the number by one and say "out" to let everyone know that you are out of that team, e.g.
[CBA] You: F+?
[CBA] iTaste: F+3
[CBA] You: F+2
... several minutes later...
[CBA] You: Never mind. F+3, out. I need to leave.
6. If you ever want to learn a new role/improve on known roles, please take the time to give our guides a look or sign up for our BA School. Even if you know BA very well, you may not know all the strategies we use in fun-runs.
Rules
1. No Player Harassment - Do not insult, flame, or excessively troll others. There is a line between banter and toxicity. Stars trust in the common sense/maturity of our members to know where that line is. Please be kind to all members of the CC and respect skill differences/experience. Do not beg for money/items in the CC. If you need money/items, contact others in private messages. Finally, do not solicit/stalk other players or attempt to bypass the block/ignore mechanism. Respect other CC member's right to privacy and autonomy.
2. No Leeching - Casual BA is a casual clan. The clan has a healthy relationship with the most-used leeching CC's and happily refers all torso-hunters that come into the CC in those directions. This is to help their businesses, to keep the CC confined to fun players only, and to avoid the many issues that can arise from unofficial leech teams. This includes alt-leeching in funs. If the team all agrees, it’s okay to fill a team with an alt, but leeching an alt by solo-attacking while the alt AFKs is NOT allowed. Teams doing so should be filled through PM’s/World 306, not in the CC.
3. No Ditching/Role Swapping - Ditching mid-round is unacceptable under any circumstances except from DC's/IRL emergencies. Although this is a casual clan and there are no requirements to meet for run times, the clan likes to keep fun rounds running at efficient speeds. Role-swapping simply slows rounds down in an unnecessary way. Some reasonable exceptions of this are: trying to save up 5k points in every role, 10HP players switching to healer on wave 10, or lagging too much in a speed-sensitive role (Defender/Healer).
4. Do Not Troll New Members - Stars don't ask that every member help every new player that comes into the CC, but please: either help them properly, or don't address them at all. Stars want torso hunters that join the CC properly informed on what CBA is for, and properly directed to 306/a trusted leech CC. Also high gamblers/people who enjoy BA ought to be introduced politely and welcomed to the clan. Redirect potential new members to these links - "info.casualba.site" and/or "funs.casualba.site".
5. Level 5 requirement / Role Hogging - In order to hinder torso/diary hunters from joining funs and to encourage growth from our members in their gameplay: to join a team using the CC, a player must be willing to perform at least three roles and have Level 5s in those respective roles. If two players are fighting for the same role, and cannot come to an agreement, the priority falls to the person who joined the team first. If someone is not Level 5 in the role s/he wishes to play, the player may still join, but only with the full consent of the other team members. Teams formed in World 6 outside of the CC are absolved of this rule.
If any of these rules are broken, Stars may respond with kicks/bans for individuals involved in wrong-doing. CBA prefers to keep its doors open to all. Don't spoil the fun!
Events
In addition to constantly having teams running, we also host weekly clan events:
Saturday - PvM + Other Events - Every Saturday the clan hosts unique events, whether it is a voted-on PvM, minigame, or other event.
Sunday - RACES! Every Sunday at 7PM GMT/2PM EST the clan gathers at wave 1 of BA, and forms teams based on the number of people that are present. The teams decide their roles among themselves, then start at the same time to see who finishes first. A more detailed explanation/guide to Sunday Races can be found here >>Race Guide<<. Sunday Races is our most cherished event. We strongly encourage players of all abilities to attend.
Ranks
In order to receive a smiley-rank in our clan, you must spend a good amount of time in the CC, and be noticed playing BA with our members. CBA has new players just about everyday, and a friends-list that can only hold 400 ranks. Therefore, it can be difficult for the Admins of the clan to always know who should receive a rank. Some ways to help us know you're serious about achieving a rank is by registering on our site, and using our "F+" system to form teams. Rank ups from smiley to sergeant work on a time-based activity system that you can find out more about here.
