Another Anniversary Weekend as come & gone and we believe this one has been the best one yet! Big to everyone that joined us in the celebrations. We hope you all enjoyed the events and had a good time.
Here is a RECAP thread!
Additional stats from the advent challenge:
Big props to Faardo & Radeo for doing all the heavy lifting on this.
Despite our host’s best efforts to be tricky or downright weird (literally a picture of a plane?), our manhunters outdid themselves in pursuit, with multiple teams finding locations on the first clue several times. But figuring out the location was only half the battle- a moment to recognise those who aggroed a demon or killerwatt, or had the misfortune of clicking a pesky teleport option instead of the host. Learn to click.
With the last iteration’s championship team disbanded, the start of a new dynasty was up for grabs. At the end of a tight competition, first place came down to the last spot, where team Fk Omen couldn’t be caught after their initial hot streak, taking the top spot over Team Sweaty Nerds (by a mere 2% of their total points!). The re-branded Inlaws held onto their place on the podium from last manhunt in a close 3rd. Congratulations to Crowride1873, inquez , mclovin1981 and the clear mastermind of the operation, Omen .
A big goes to Faardo , Scorchbeast , moocows , buns , xyborg and wvoquine for organising this!
See below for the full results:
If you missed manhunt, or want to relive the thrill of solving the clues, see here for all the hints and here for the solutions.
We also tried out Arrow Room Fucked Us & Give 1 Take 1, which got even crazier. If you're keen on trying out some more Gimmicks, the thread can be found here.
Thanks again Try for the host!
All of our Sunday events were livestreamed on twitch by our incredible hosts Tasty , Hops , moocows , Faardo , navimydude , and ignoblesolid . The stream was amazing and CBA was able to get over 150 subs! Insane. Thanks to everyone that tuned in, we absolutely love putting these streams together. You can rewatch the ENTIRE stream here.
In these races, 12 teams were divided into 2 groups on separate worlds. The top 2 teams from each world moved on while the rest battled it out in another race to secure 2 more spots in the semi-finals, for a total of 6 teams. From these, only 3 teams moved on to the grand finals and qualified for cash prizes. GZ to Team Daddy Wazaa, Team Capeshit, and Team Henke on making it to the finals.
The grand finals this year did not disappoint. The teams were entering into every wave nearly simultaneously. Going into the final waves all 3 teams were just seconds apart, it could of been anyones win. But, in the end, Team Henke brought home the trophy with a speedy 10:55 finish. They were the only team to get sub 11 this year and they ended up getting it in all of their runs during the tourney this year. Congrats henke18 , inquez , Wythawthus , kaaskroket , & gelekers . Well deserved victory.

Awards & Promos
After the tournament we all headed back to wave 1 for the awards ceremony, where several awards are given out based on a community vote. This time we smashed our record with 101 voters!! Thanks again to everyone that voted and congrats to all our winners! Here are the results.
And then, of course, we also had our special (couple) awards..
And it didn't stop there. After the awards we had a few promotions for the Star Team to announce.
We started with a new addition. The CBA Star Team brought on the wonderful buns as it's newest Lieutenant. Welcome to the team!
Even though he didn't win the tournament, we still decided to welcome the newest Captain to our team, wazaaranger !
Thanks for being great reps of CBA and congrats on the Promo!
We then ended the day with our biggest drop party to date. Thanks to everyone that donated to this years anniversary. Several people walked away with over 100m in loot!!!
We hope that everyone had an amazing time (because we did!) and enjoyed all the events. Congrats again to all our winners, thanks again to everyone that helped, and we hope to see you all at the next one.

Advent Calendar
This year our Advent Calendar made a return. It consisted of a series of small challenges to be completed each day for the 14 days leading up to our Anniversary. We had the ever popular a q p, get kicked by a star, and probably the most popular, BA Art submissions. The talent (or lack thereof) from CBA is truly extraordinary. You can find a list of all of your art here. This year we had 78 members participate (up from 51 last year!) with 21 of them completing every challenge! Each completed day put your name into a raffle so completing more challenges gave you bigger odds. Our lucky winners this year were buns , oblivia9999 , No Pecs No X, rizk , and Pwnalyzed! Big props to Faardo & Radeo for doing all the heavy lifting on this.
Day 1 - Saturday December 12th
Man Hunt
We kicked off the weekend with a classic CBA Manhunt. With all the pre-formed teams (featuring some questionable names) and drafts together, we had a total of 15 teams competing this time around, tying the record from last manhunt. Gimmick Races
After Manhunt we went down to Wave 1 to meet our host, Try for this years Gimmick Races! This year we did a few new ones that Try Speaking had come up with. The first one, M8 W0t is this team, had a cash prize for the winners. It was essentially being able to pick the players for other teams and the captains needed to figure out the best way to sabo with their picks. Big GZ to our winning team: Team fl0x , Blue Whales , Salty Spud, ItsFightMilk, & Hesi PullupWe also tried out Arrow Room Fucked Us & Give 1 Take 1, which got even crazier. If you're keen on trying out some more Gimmicks, the thread can be found here.

Tourney
Firstly, big shout out and thank you to rata , buns , and Capeshit for joining the CBA Multitwitch and streaming their point of views during the tournament. Sundays are traditionally all about BA and this year was no different. We put friendships aside and THROW DOWN to see who can bring home the big win and even more importantly, the CASH PRIZE. In these races, 12 teams were divided into 2 groups on separate worlds. The top 2 teams from each world moved on while the rest battled it out in another race to secure 2 more spots in the semi-finals, for a total of 6 teams.
