Collecting in funs

Thanks to Tasty for commentating and revising, Faardo for help on the first version, and the community for letting me farm clips off of them.
Before playing:
It's recommended to turn off auto retaliate and hide left click attack in your Runescape options. These help you to click on eggs without clicking on mobs or being dragged away.
The Runelite plugin ground items can help to highlight egg locations on the ground, especially if you are colorblind. Additional plugins such as BegOSRS's Ba Minigame offer dynamic egg highlighting and show what eggs are deposited in the hopper. However, this plugin as well as non-runelite plugins are typically frowned upon in speed games.
Gear
For collecting in funs, gear selection is generally not important. If you are low hp or defense, wear defensive gear that maximizes ranged defense as rangers and the queen both use ranged. A ring of suffering or recoil can offer a marginal benefit to your attackers by recoiling damage onto the penance, but this is negligible with two attackers.
Waves 1-4:
On waves 1-4, you should be blocking runners from going West. When the wave starts, run North-West then North along the side of the cannon. This keeps you out of lure range of the spawning healers.
After you pass the cannon, run directly to the spot marked in image 2. Your goal is to reach this spot before the first runner finishes their first movement. After the first runner bumps into you (walks West) or walks in a different direction (walks East or South), move to the tile directly next to the runner spawn. You know you have blocked the first runner correctly if it goes straight to the trap without eating food along the way. Block the remaining runners in this spot until the wave ends.
There are a couple optional but recommended differences in these waves:
Wave 1
On wave 1, you should skip blocking the 1st runner. Instead, run directly next to the runner spawn to block the 2nd runner only.
Wave 4
Only the 1st and 4th(last) runners need to be blocked. After blocking the 1st runner like normal, stand further East so healers aren't pulled west.
Return to block the 4th runner when it spawns at 24 seconds (:06 on Runelite timer). 3 seconds after it spawns (when your timer says :03), stop blocking and run to this spot on the Eastern wall. If the healer lures onto you from here, it will get stuck for easy poisoning.
Collecting, converting, and loading eggs
On waves 5-10, your primary job is to load the cannon with red eggs before the end of the 2nd call. Start by running West with your attackers and begin picking up eggs as far West as possible. You should try to avoid picking up eggs outside of the green zone here or you risk luring a healer:
At the end of the first call, head to the East cannon to load your eggs if they were red, or head South to the converter if they were green or blue. If you only got a couple eggs in the first call you can stay to collect more in the 2nd call, but only for about 10 seconds or you risk not loading in time.
Converting
The converter changes all eggs in the inventory to a different color, but not those in the collector bag. To convert those eggs, you must first right click empty the bag.
The conversion process works as follows:
Blue eggs are converted to green. Green eggs are converted to red. Red eggs are converted backwards to green. So, it takes 1 conversion to turn greens to red, but 2 conversions to turn blue to red. Note that not all eggs will survive the conversion process.
If you stayed to collect in the 2nd call, you should arrange the eggs in your bag and inventory so they can all convert to red. For example, say the 1st call is blue, and the 2nd call is green. You should first empty the blue eggs from your bag before collecting the green eggs. That way, when you go to convert you first change all the blues in your inventory to green, then empty the rest of the greens from your bag, then convert them all to red.
Loading the cannon
After you've obtained your red eggs, head to the East cannon to load them. If you got >5 eggs you can fully load them and start firing, but make sure the cannon never runs out of eggs.
If you had 5 or less eggs, load 2 or 3 individually by clicking use egg on the hopper, and keep a couple leftover in your inventory. You can shoot until there is one egg left in the cannon, but be careful as your teammates may also try to shoot. Start shooting when your main attacker uses any animation stall such as a skillcape emote, pet rock, or uri transform. The hopper doesn't have to be reloaded until the stall ends, meaning you can continuously fire with your team.
When the cape ends, if healers or runners are still alive you can use another egg on the hopper to reload and start shooting when your main attacker capes again. However, there are some tips you should follow for reloading and shooting the cannon:
Cannon etiquette
Do not shoot the cannon too close to the end of a cape
The main attacker may be using a prayer at the end of their cape to try to force end the wave. Stop shooting the cannon 1 to 2 seconds before the cape ends to ensure you do not break their prayer.
Do not load the cannon close to the end of the wave
For the same reason as above, you should never load the cannon if the wave ends a few seconds later. You may ruin their force, and lose your team time.
Do not shoot stray eggs close to the end of the wave
If the main is not caping and no one else is shooting the cannon, do not fire an egg at a healer or runner that is already about to die. Your main can't predict these random shots, so they will break the force.
Wait for the main to cape before you shoot
Unless otherwise stated, the only person that should be shooting the cannon before the main capes is the collector. Everyone else should wait specifically until they see the main attacker cape. This also applies to cannon reloads. If your collector reloads the cannon early, just as the cape is ending, do not continue firing or you will use that egg.
Dealing with healers
If a healer lures onto you while you’re collecting, try to bring it to the East cannon without letting it poison you. You should still have plenty of time to convert before it reaches you. If the healer will die on its own or you don’t have enough eggs yet, just let it poison you and continue collecting eggs.
If a healer is on you while you’re at the East cannon, look at its HP. Low hp healers should be put on the side or corner of the cannon, while new spawns should be put North to be targeted by the cannon. To put a healer on the side or corner of the cannon, simply step off and to the side of the cannon before running back onto the cannon.
You can purposely lure healers by standing in one's line of sight and waiting for it to target you after it spawns or heals a runner. However, you shouldn't lure if your team is extending wave 6, 7, or 10.
Here are some examples of cannon luring. Healers marked with a green dot are prioritized by the cannon. The full cannon priority diagram can be found here
Wave 10 + Queen
Wave 10 starts the same as waves 5-9, except that you must start by running West of the cannon, and collecting even further West as well. This is because the healer spawn is closer to you on this wave.
Once all of the penance are dead, make sure the cannon is loaded with at least 1 egg of any kind. This is called the “pre-load”, and it helps your team to spam click the omega egg when shooting the queen. Then, stand on the queen's trapdoor and wait for her to spawn. The spot shown below is the best tile to stand, as it is the best average distance between yellow egg spawns.
When the queen spawns, grab one yellow egg and pass it to your healer. Run to the spot shown 2 tiles South of the hopper and wait for the defender to pass the egg back to you. Once you get the egg, immediately click the hopper load the omega egg. If the queen does not die, you will have to repeat the egg process over again.
