It's official, Casual Ba is 5 years old, and we had a ton of fun celebrating the achievement. everyone that was there to participate in any of the celebrations. For anyone that missed it, here's a recap of everything that happened!
Additional stats from the advent challenge:
Some teams, however, picked up on our clues right away. It was a tough fight for the top spots until the very end, with only 2 points separating the top 2 teams going into the final location. In the end, Tazner's Bitches would find us faster, securing them a solid victory. Congratulations to Tazner, Crowride1873, inquez , and Lifelilly on the win and 280m!
A big goes to Scorchbeast , Zanuil , buns , wvoquine and ImlronmanBtw for organising this!

In the first round players had to play a ba related version of Family Fortunes, where they had to guess the most popular answer to various questions polled within the community. With no clear answers, it was awfully suspicious that the event host Navi kept getting every question right. In the end, after disqualifying the hosts from winning their own game, it was Sparkbizz, SamoaSpider, and Floyd Ocean to walk away in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respectively.
In round 2, players had to solve Ba related anagrams that got progressively harder. Everyone was pretty terrible at solving them, so Hops had to hop in and give some occasional hints for each anagram. By the end players were doing quite well, and the winners were JustGlyphs, Greywind24, and Xyborg.
A big to Run Down Mid , Hops , navimydude ,moocows and wvoquine for helping to put this together!
All of our Sunday events were livestreamed on twitch by our incredible hosts buns , Tasty , wvoquine , boz , and ImironmanBtw. We had a massive amount of people tune in to watch the stream that you can replay here.

For the 5 year anniversary, we decided to host the largest Ba tournament in Cba history with over 1 billion gp up for grabs.
In these races, 12 teams were divided into 2 groups on separate worlds. The top 2 teams from each world moved on while the rest battled it out in another race to secure 2 more spots in the semi-finals. The two fastest non-winning teams were also brought in as wildcards, for a total of 8 teams. All 8 of the teams in the semi-finals qualified for cash prizes. From these, only 4 teams moved on to the big finale. GZ to Teams Zanuil, Capeshit, RSVelo and Solar754 on making it to the finals.
The finals this year were extremely close, with the top 3 teams having only a difference of 7 seconds between them. Team capeshit, who looked ready to repeat their feat as the only sub-11 of the day, were narrowly edged out on w10. In the end it was team RSVelo to come out of wave 10 first with a time of 11:08. Congratulations RSVelo, tassos , thiccqueen , Floyd Ocean, and Kupsi11 on the tournament victory. Following their win, RSVelo generously donated his winnings to the rest of the team, meaning each of them walked away with a massive 150m split.

Starting off the anniversary weekend was Man Hunt. In total 14 teams set out to find our hiders in 8 different locations. For most teams what followed was a struggle to piece together the clues. One unfortunate team even set up camp in a location with full certainty that it would be one of the spots. It was not. Some teams, however, picked up on our clues right away. It was a tough fight for the top spots until the very end, with only 2 points separating the top 2 teams going into the final location.
