Hello everyone! I decided to make this post for those who are interested in playing with randoms at all (given that's what I do almost all the time). When you're playing on a team with randoms, you may across someone who shows potential to join CBA. This potential can be seen if 1) You've been helping a random player(s) by giving them advice on their role (See Playing w/ the BA Inexp'd, Pt. 1) 2) You've motivated them to continue playing their role, beyond acquiring a torso. Also, you've helped inspire them to continue playing, even after getting level 5s. (See Playing w/ the BA Inexp'd, Pt. 2)
3) You see they already show promise (e.g. Attacker ranging in void, running west of cannon at start; Defender consistently killing Runners relatively fast, etc), without communicating with them; and not recognizing them from any BA clans. 4) Willingness to learn and fast adaptation to your advice. When I see any of these qualities in people as I play with them (there may be more, but I can't think of any others at the moment), I see these as green flags for picking them up to join CBA. The above "prerequisites" could be seen as signs that they'll enjoy the minigame, if not at least strive for the long-term goals (pet, gamble count, even them wanting a good community to play OSRS with helps!) There's not really much else to say here; all the advice you can give people on playing the game can be found in Parts 1 and 2 of these forum topics. This is intended to give ideas as to how to effectively pick up players to join CBA, in the event you play with randoms. Good luck, and have fun out there!
Fun fact: This post title is in reference to In Search of the Myreque, the 3rd quest of the Myreque series in OSRS.
