Casual Ba is about to be 6 years old, and you're invited to celebrate! Two days of fun events, an awards show for your favorite ba'ers, and a huge drop party to end the year. Don't miss it!

Every 6 months we hold a community vote on various awards, and we need YOUR help to nominate and vote on the winners! The nominations will run from now until the 25th.
Come back after that to take part in the final vote and see your favorite ba'ers win!

Advent
The Advent Challenge returns! For two weeks we'll be releasing a challenge countdown every day. Complete each challenge and earn a raffle entry for each one!
The more challenges you complete the better your odds of winning the raffle are. There will be 3 winners, and a special bonus raffle only for those who complete the entire board.

Manhunt
One of our most successful events; you know it: we've got another Man Hunt for you!

Welcome to MAN HUNT!!!
Man Hunt is a hide-and-seek game where one person (host) hides and gives out clues for teams to go on the hunt to find him.
We’ve organized Man Hunts with various location restrictions and settled on a balance of areas that almost everyone should have unlocked for this Man Hunt. If you choose to bring your hardcore iron account to this hunt, we are not responsible for its status.
Man Hunt goes as follows:
1. Form teams
Teams will consist of 4 people each. Pre-made teams are ALLOWED. For anyone not in a team, we will be drafting teams race style!
You will use your captains cc and/or discord to communicate with your team members; voice channels can be used first-come first-serve, extras will be made for the event.
2. Check Site for Clues (link will be posted right before the event)
After teams have been formed, the hosts/co-hosts will go into the hiding spot and reveal clues here on the Forums. As the clock ticks down, progressively easier clues will be given out.
3. Find the Hidden Host
Find the Hidden host with help of the clue(s) you're given. You have about 10 minutes to find them. Once you’re there, DD on them and say your team name to claim your find.
4. Wait until more people arrive
It’s a race to find the host. Earlier teams will get more points, so being quick and clever is key.
5. Back to Step #2
Repeat the process after either all teams have found the Hidden Host or the time for that location has run out.
After 8 locations have been found everyone will come together in BA lobby. The hosts/co-hosts will announce the winning teams. They will receive a prize and badge on the Forums!
Now that we've covered what Man Hunt is, let the sign up begin!
BEFORE you sign up:
Make sure at least 3 team members can make it through the entirety of the event. Man Hunt lasts for about two hours!
Man Hunt Team Captains should be checking Discord during Man Hunt in order to get updates on when new clues or locations are being posted on the Forums. They will be responsible for updating the team on clues on the site.
This section is only required if you have a (partially) PRE-MADE TEAM
Please use this format when signing up (either on a post here or DM one of the hosts on discord):
Teams will be capped at 4 players to make it fair for each team.
This means you can sign up with up to 3 others if you'd like to be in a team with those people, but make sure you’re all in agreement beforehand! Joining multiple teams or team hopping mid-event is not allowed.
If you only have one friend or two friends available to partner up with you, no worries! You can fill your team right before the event starts during the draft.
Gimmick Races & Social Night
After Man Hunt, we will be running back to ba to prepare for a special session of gimmick races. The gimmicks aren't quite ready to be revealed, but we're sure they're going to be a ton of fun.
As always, prizes will be awarded to the winners.
Following the gimmick races will be hanging out in voicechat for our legendary Social Nights. If you haven't participated before, it's essentially just playing various games (either in-game or from #other-games), having some drinks, and spending some quality time getting to know your fellow BA addicts.

Tournament Race
We have a tournament race planned for all of you! Starting at @ 19 UTC, World 512, we will draft teams at Wave 1. Following the recent rule changes in Sunday Races alts are not allowed in the tournament as well - you need to come on the ranked account or previously ranked (known) account. This highly competitive event will multiple rounds. - first two rounds will be in a pool play and, then, in bracketed rounds until one team has secured victory in the championship round. There may even be a couple wildcard teams along the way. Prize money and discord badges WILL be awarded.

Community Awards / Drop Party
Every six months, the CBA community votes on community awards. Refer to the beginning of this thread for the award categories and a link to vote. We will read the results of the awards live on stream. Tune in at www.twitch.tv/casualba.
To conclude this portion of the event, there also will be a Drop Party! We will ACCEPTING donations. Just message any star in game or on discord to donate! Your name will be added on the list down below in the comments. You can choose to donate anonymously as well.
To all the iron-(wo)men in our cc: If you want to attend the drop party, please ask a star to swap your rank to your non-iron account.
Sunday Races
To close our Sixth Anniversary event, we will humbly host our normal 4-round installation of Sunday Races for anyone who still has the energy to go the distance with us.

Seeding for 2nd round:
Winner of 1st race from Group X VS Winner of 2nd race from Group Y
Runner-up of 1st race from Group X VS Runner-up of 1st race from Group Y
Winner of 1st race from Group Y VS Winner of 2nd race from Group X
Three team final
In the event we have 12+ teams, we will pull the two fastest non-winning teams in as wildcards for a second chance, ending with a 4 team finale. To give them a disadvantage, they will be seeded against the top 2 fastest teams overall.
The entire tournament will be live streamed @ www.twitch.tv/casualba with full commentary from CBA Stars, speed fiends, and other various old-timers.
Additionally, you can watch the bracket live on this day at tourney.casualba.site.
